There are many schools and colleges offering courses
for Reflexology training,
but how do you know which one to go to? What level of training will
you receive, will your qualification be widely recognised by by all
employers, including the UK government and NHS?
Jubilee College is fully accredited by
ABC Awards, and delivers a
qualification accepted by the
Association of Reflexologists (AoR)
and
Professional Reflexology.
The AoR is the best known and most respected
Reflexology organisation in the UK, has Government recognition, are members of
the Reflexology in Europe Network and are members of the Reflexology Forum.
The AoR also offers exceptional insurance cover (free for students), regional support groups, an
internationally recognised journal, advice and information services,
promotional literature and activities, research initiatives and an ongoing
educational programme.
As a graduate of our College, you
will be able to automatically register with the
NHS Register of
Reflexologists, become a member of the AoR and Professional
Reflexology, and put the initials MAR (and/or) PR GJC
(Dip. Reflex) after your name.
Training includes practical
sessions in foot and hand Reflexology, the study of Anatomy and Physiology
and advice on how to run a successful business. To facilitate the
training, there is a
Student
area to this website, that gives students access to downloads,
lecture notes, podcasts, consultation forms, diagrams and much more.
Practical assessment is
conducted in class and the term finishes with a written exam on Saturday
16th July 2011. Students will undertake six
case studies and there will be homework to do in
your own time.

Bridging Courses
Jubilee College also runs 'bridging courses' for
students who have previously qualified with IIHHT BABTAC and VTCT, who are
wishing to upgrade their qualification to AoR standards.
Bridging courses are run alongside the Practitioner's
Diploma, with students attending a minimum of 10 out of the 14 available
training sessions. Prices for the bridging course are considerably
cheaper than the full course. For more information and pricing, please
contact the College.
